Let’s start at the very beginning…
“I know what I like”
We call this stage our foundation as there is nothing required to start here other than hopes and dreams. We meet with our clients to discuss what they see in their vision of an ideal future.
What areas or cities do they have hopes of living in…
What type of lifestyle do they see themselves living…
What are their hopes of renting, leasing or buying…
What type of vehicle (if anything) do they have hopes of driving…
Do they have dreams to travel frequently…
Do they have hobbies that they have hopes of continuing…
We look at all of these questions and more through casual conversation to try and figure out what the ideal dream life looks like for our clients. We then take the answers and dreams to then break them out into what a typical budget might look like with current market evaluations. We understand that the cost of living and expenses is only going to increase over time but this conversation servers as a discovery to figure out what lifestyle we are aiming for!
Once we have worked through this conversation to look at what the future dream life looks like, we will work on trying to identify some occupations that can support this lifestyle. If the individual has some ideas on what they like we will explore those occupations first but if they don’t we will go into some “likes and dislikes” assessments to try and see what might be out there!
